The point when Eminem at first settled on a choice to title
his most recent collection "The Marshall Mathers LP 2," he realized
that audience members would immediately make an association with his unique
"MMLP"; the rapper asserted that the new collection is not a
continuation, yet a "revisitation." Slim Shady illustrates that the
first track of the collection "Bad Guy" was planned to show the ties
between the two records.
On the dim opening track transformed by Luis Resto,
M-Phazes, S1 and StreetRunner, the Detroit rapper cunningly makes an
association with 2000's "Stan," where a crazed fan submits suicide,
and executes his better half and their unborn child because of his venerated
image's absence of consideration paid to him. Right away, "Bad Guy"
has Stan's sibling Matthew Mitchell looking for his vengeance on Eminem for his
kin's passing.
"Bad Guy" is told from Matthew's viewpoint, where
Stan's more youthful sibling deliberately plots Eminem's murder.
The Marshall Mathers LP 2 is now faring great on the graphs:
"The Monster" offers a visitor spot from Rihanna and has recently
crested at the highest point of the Billboard 200. Other craftsman cameos might
be Kendrick Lamar, fun. singer Nate Ruess and Skylar
Grey.
Astonishingly, "MMLP2" posts a bigger introduction
than Eminem's last collection, 2010's "Recovery," which began with
741,000. Both collections bowed greater than his past set, 2009's
"Relapse," which entered with 608,000.
